Goodbye El Torito, hello In-N-Out?
Facebook chatters speculated about whether the popular burger stand might be coming to The Outlets at Orange. In-N-Out has applied for a conditional use permit at 3520 C The City Way East, currently the site of an El Torito restaurant.

The permit, submitted Thursday, Aug. 13, proposes the “demolition of an existing sit down restaurant for the construction of a new fast food drive through.” Carl Arena, the chain’s vice president of real estate & development, says it’s not a done deal. “We do hope to open a restaurant at The Outlets At Orange in the future. That said, discussions are so preliminary that there is nothing to report on at this time.”
