This Halloween drive-in event in LA is inspired by ‘Nightmare Before Christmas,’ ‘Hocus Pocus’

After cable channel Freeform revealed its annual “31 Nights of Halloween” schedule on Tuesday, it announced its family-friendly Halloween Road event.

Guests will experience the immersive drive-in style event from their vehicles as they drive through scenes inspired by some of the films featured in the Freeform line-up, including “The Nightmare Before Christmas,” “Hocus Pocus,” “Ghostbusters” and more.

This is the third year for Freeform’s Halloween House. Though with restrictions due to COVID-19, it had to be reimagined as a drive-thru, yet still Instagram-worthy, Halloween Road experience. It will take place Oct. 2-4.

The event is located at Heritage Square Museum in Los Angeles, a neighborhood filled with historic Victorian-style homes. Patrons can make a reservation starting at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 12 at 31nightsofhalloween.com. Tickets are free, but will undoubtedly go quickly.
